Amanda has presented to audiences large and small motivating and inspiring attendees to change their lives that very day. Amanda encourages others in their relationships as well as their personal lives by using education, passion, and evidence based strategies that work.
Amanda led a three part series of talks on Positive Cycology during the Tour de Virginia. Positive Cycology is an exploration of cycling and psychology concepts to positively enrich your riding and living experience Her talks are entitled: Sweet Spot and Flow, Periodization and Optimization, and Epic Adventures and Peak Experiences.
Amanda will be a speaker at the upcoming 10th Conference for the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood. Her talk is a choose-your-own-adventure type presentation entitled Motivate and Move On: How parents and emerging adults can navigate the launch to independence together. Participants will be able to choose what happens next in the video scenes where a family tries to help their emerging adult move out on his own.
Amanda has led retreats, groups and classes. She is a regular instructor at the College of William & Mary's Osher Institute. She is available for personal intensives or group gatherings.
